Jackson was foaled in 2010. Jackson has been in our program for over a year now and has been enjoying his time getting to know a new herd and group of students to work with. Jackson has a quiet personality and takes a little while to warm up to those around him. He enjoys fresh treats and often can be found nibbling Carrots on his toy sheep in his stall. Jackson is willing to ride in a group, however he does ask for his own personal space and will make it known if someone is impeding on his bubble. Jackson enjoys riding solo, but can be a little weary of different objects and needs some coaxing to work past his confidence concerns. Jackson has been proving to be a great addition to KS Riding and we look forward to his growth as a lesson horse.
Jackson is available in out Lease Program.

Rascal was foaled in 2004. Rascal came to KS Riding in 2023. Rascal is an Appendix Quarter Horse. Rascal has been developing greatly in our program and has found pride in working with children. When Rascal first arrived he appeared to have Ulcer symptoms as well as behavioral issues in correlation. Through training and consistency Rascal has developed into a great partner and mount for KS Riding.

Rascal is available in out leasing program.

Annie Oakly was foaled in 2000, and she came to KS Riding Summer of 2016. Annie O. is a National Spotted saddle horse. Annie has many fun gaits and is a very forward moving horse. Annie is a blast in the arena or on the trails. Annie is only available to an experienced rider for leasing as she can be so fast and forward moving. Annie will ride out alone onto the trails and has no issues performing in the arena doing games, jumping, or causal riding.

Annie is only available for experienced riders.

Major was foaled in 2022. Major has been with us since he was 6 months old! Major is an Appaloosa Quarter Horse cross. Major is not part of our riding program yet, however students enjoy getting to watch Baby Major grow with us! Major isn’t really into treats just yet but loves attention. Feel free to follow his progress as he is now going into some training.

Banks was Foaled in 2016 and is Thoroughbred. We adopted Banks from This Old Horse and brought him into our program. Banks raced the track at Canterbury downs. Banks retired from racing and started a career as a hunter jumper and dressage horse. Barks sustained an injury and was found unable to hold a career in jumping and found himself at the rescue. We brought him to KS Riding and continued to help him recover and help him with his soundness issues. We are happy to see increased improvement in Banks every week.
