🐴 Be Ready to Ride – Bring the Right Equipment!

Coming to horseback riding lessons prepared keeps you safe and helps you ride with confidence. Here's what to bring and where you can find each item:

✅ What to Bring:

  • Riding Helmet – Safety first! Make sure it’s properly fitted and certified.

  • Riding Boots – With a small heel to prevent your foot from slipping through the stirrup.

  • Jeans or Breaches – No Shorts! Choose pants that allow easy movement and won’t chafe.

  • Gloves – For better grip on the reins and to protect your hands.

  • Fitted Shirt or Jacket – Avoid loose clothing that could get caught.

  • Water Bottle – Stay hydrated, especially in warm weather.

  • Equestrian Stores – Staff can help fit helmets and boots properly.

  • Online Retailers – Look for trusted sites like Chicks Saddlery, State Line Tack, or Amazon.

  • Your Riding School – Some equipment (like helmets) may be available to borrow—ask in advance!
